Currier Island is the land of Ultimate paradise. Currier Island,  it is rumoured to be a very small island  with only 5000+ people in Micronesia, basically pertaining to the Marshall Islands, which are owned by the US, but basically its own independent country therein.  Then again some say it isn't a real country at all but simply a state of mind.  A place, no doubt, but one not geographical but more metaphysical.  A place that exists inside us all that is governed by the spirit of the game philosophy where there are no laws, no money, no police and no problems. 

It is said that the local inhabitants of Currier Island spend most of the day time engaging in beach ultimate games, keeping fit by swimming in the clear blue water and enjoying the odd Currier cocktail mixed to perfection in a coconut.

The outside world became aware of Currier Island only just prior to the 2004 WCBU when they established communications with Patrick Van der Valk and requested an invitation to attend (stating that WCBU  could not possible qualify as a legitimate "World Championship" without representation from the Currerian Island Nation).  Patrick could not help but oblige and granted the Nation's request to attend this, possibly the most prestigious Beach ultimate ever.
